In total there are 3 users online :: 2 registered, 0 hidden and 1 guest (based on users active over the past 5 minutes) Most users ever online was 2246 on Tue Jul 16, 2019 12:32 pm.
Now it has started to crash again, and so I have disabled all except Adblock. And Adblock crashes every few minutes. My guess is that some update in Avira or in Chrome may be causing this. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. PS: I have now gone over to Firefox and so far Adblock seems stable still with this.
Similar thing happened to me. Last night (2-12-2020) I got a popup that said something about AdBlock Plus just installed an update and that AdBlock Plus was turned off. Click the button to turn it back on or click another button to leave it turned off. I clicked the button to turn it back on. I did *not* notice if it was in Edge toolbar before ...

If the page keeps opening although your ABP update is long past, please help us out with some info: 1. Go to chrome://extensions/ 2. In top right corner, switch on "Developer mode" 3. At the Adblock Plus extension, click "background page" 4. In the Console tab, paste this and press Enter:

Go to menu Tools / Add-ons, select Adblock Plus in the list and click the “Uninstall” button. MozillaZine Knowledge Base has more detailed instructions. Note that Adblock Plus preferences are not removed when the extension is uninstalled. If you reinstall Adblock Plus later your configuration will be available again.
