Once per week Amazon gives a free game, either through their Prime Gaming app or Epic, GOG, Legacy, etc. They also give in-game loot for various games including Roblox. I also like the one-month free plays on Luna. Just this year alone, I have collected over 300 games and couldn't be happier. Yes, I agree that it is expensive.

I've been subscribed to Amazon Prime Gaming for months ( or maybe around 2 years ). The only reason why I'm subscribed is to collect my monthly Capsule, It was so delightful.
I just claimed the Bus simulator 21 from prime gaming. I have downloaded the amazon games app and tried to download but its stuck at 11%. Verifying installed files is all i see. Longest i've waited was 2hr 25 mins as i was watching a movie and letting this run.

So Prime Gaming, if I understand correctly, it says 'Free 7-day trial. Just $5.99 per month after trial. Cancel anytime'. Most free X-day trials though, still require you to enter credit card info, and YOU have to make sure you cancel in time before you're charged. I just think it's all false economy.
