Another option is to try to pick up a cheap 6.5" or 7.5" barrel and have a smith turn it down, and thread and crown it. That's also playing the waiting game and could turn into a turd polishing project with questionable results.
After all, if there is any fine debris from break in, it will be caught in the filter media. Changing the filter will remove the debris, and at the same time make sure your filter isn't clogged and is properly flowing. Lastly I do 5K oil changes on my vehicles. I think 3K is to early and 7500-10K is way too long.

This isn’t my first boat. Buying my first boat was far from the best day of ownership. There were quite a few fun days but the best was probably witnessing my father in law shock the hell out of himself while helping trouble shoot an issue with the starter.

The capacity for now wouldn’t matter for me as I didn’t grab P320 mags during freedom week 5 years ago in California. I have various cap mags for 9mm Glock, so I use my G26 mags with the Glock OEM +2. I imagine, after looking at Handgun hero, that my G26 with those mags would still be a bit shorter than the P320 subcompact.
