    As mentioned, fishing an area and only covering 40 yards put Bass after Bass in the boat for pictures today. This was by far one of my better days playing with the green fish. The fish have moved from areas that produced earlier when the river stage was up. Looking for some current along thick cover has been the ticket to staying on fish.

    After a quick discussion this morning about the rain near the southern pools of the Miss, we decided to head north to Guttenberg. Good Choice! The water was really clean, and the fish were in a decent mood. Getting our limit today was a little tougher than usual. But we still managed some very nice eaters, and one nice 22" male walleye (released).
