I saw this week, Ross was in for Jeff, and another guy in for Ashlee at 5, and then tonight, Sunday, someone else. I think I read somewhere Mackenzie Bart went somewhere else, but what about Jeff Booth?
This morning, the weatherman was from STL, and a few weeks ago, a weatherman was working remote from Buffalo, NY. Channel 10 is owned by TEGNA which is a local station conglomerate. Those “fill ins” are coming from “sister” TEGNA owned stations. Until next week, I believe 10TV only has 2 weather people.
Per their 5:30pm newscast on Monday, chief meteorologist Ashlee Baracy will be leaving 10TV. Her last day on the air is on December 15. No exact details on what’s next for her career but it was mentioned that “it’s an opportunity she could not pass up.”.

Tino didn't make a name for himself in Columbus unlike other reporters in the Columbus Area, but that's ok. He did what he loved and local news in Columbus will be less without him. Moreso for 10TV. He was in my neighborhood a while back reporting on a gunshot that turned out to be a car backfiring.
Susan began her career as creator and host of the “FOX 28 Kids Club”. She went on to host a regional show ‘Take 1” and was Executive Producer and Anchor of a weekly local news magazine, “This Week”. Susan went to work in Kansas City, for a brief stint. But she returned to Columbus to cover the health and medical needs of Central Ohio.
10tv has had some serious meteorologist turnover in past few years…wondering if anyone knows where Maddie Kirker went? It seems as though one day she was on the air and the next she wasn’t. She left a post on her Instagram saying goodbye columbus. She had some health issues, but seems ok now. She was good.
Columbus is within the 'view line' to potentially see the Aurora tonight. You might have to drive out to a darker area and look to the northern horizon. A long exposure photo might see it better than the human eye can. Currently in a parking lot in a dark part of Marengo, and you can 100% see it!
Browns game is not being broadcast locally. 10TV WBNS screws us again. Guarantee you there are a lot more Browns and Steelers fans in central Ohio than there are Bengals and Ravens fans.....
