Theoretically, the conversion from core to ultimate is 3:2 months, so I should receive 22 months of game pass ultimate. However, I received only 19 months of ultimate (plus the 1 month) , ending on 6/2025 as of 10/2023. I mean the commercial value of the card/code (Estimated Retail Price) when it is sold for its base price (no promotions). i.e. a month of ultimate at its standard rate is 14.99$ per month while the base game pass is 9.99$. Since the value is not the same a code for a month of game pass does not become a full month of ultimate, but 20 days.

You can add prepaid gold or game pass codes while you're on Ultimate and it will extend your time, but at a different conversion rate (which you can find in the FAQ). So if you were to add a 12 month gold, you would extend your Ultimate by 4 months. Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site.
