I had my eyes on Chase, Capital One, Citi, NFCU .... And they ALL pull something else or a mixture :/ .. (I've already done heavy research in that master thread here that has the grid, on doctor of credit etc). Tried to join Unify, got declined due to chexsystems issue (tried to get reconsideration done twice, they won't budge).
Experian is total garbage. Former employer had a breach of security in which my name and Social Security number was released. I was given a free membership to Experian ID works. I signed up for it and saw that there were $90,000 worth of loans as well as three credit cards that did not belong to me on the report.
4.8K votes, 197 comments. true. I've been trying to get ahold of a real person in customer service for the last week, and consistently end up at the same automated answering service that doesn't give me an option to talk to someone.
UPDATE: For anyone else looking for help who may get caught in Experian's hellish phone system, I was finally able to resolve my issues by contacting Experian help on Twitter -- @experianhelp_us (send a DM). If you're not a Twitter user, they also responded to an email to: support@experiandirect.com But the email responses were slower.

Why is my Experian score so much lower than my other two scores. I have been checking my credit once my student loans were paid off and all my credit scores went up. Not sure if it was experian or one of the other 3 but i remember it would say it was sending the text but it wouldnt actually send the text until i asked for the code to resend. Write a letter. keep calling. Use another carrier. It won't send a code on the site or the app for me either. I'm hoping this will resolve on Monday.
