The documented way is to use the Kindle PC app and download the book inside that. The file will end up on your PC and only readable in the Kindle. It sounds like the "Import Collections" option is just what I need, but I cannot find it on my Kindle Paperwhite even when "Cloud items" is selected. (2nd version of Paperwhite).
