I have been a Twitch Partner and a member of StreamElements' "Dream Team" for several years. In that time, I have done a number of sponsorships with SE, and never had any major problems. But it seems things have changed. I accepted a sponsorship, and my repeated requests to see the contract before the broadcast were dodged.

My best guess to what they’re doing is being a broker for sponsorships. X company reaches out to StreamElements looking for people to promote their product. StreamElements sends out the info to their users. That user makes a conversion and X company pays StreamElements. StreamElements then pays their users.
Streamelements uses less of my CPU than Streamlabs so that's first plus. The overlay editor in Streamelements is significantly better IMHO. Then there is being able to custom name your bot for free (small thing but a big thing for me) Have only recently moved from Streamlabs to Streamelements and I dont regret it.
Popular doesn't mean 'good' or 'best' when it comes to alerts. The popular options are the most promoted ones. Between these two, StreamElements. StreamElements has a nice overlay editor and no hidden costs (as far as I'm aware). StreamLabs have a history of shady behaviour. There are other options too.
Check if the 7TV emotes are properly linked to your StreamElements account. Clear your browser cache, then restart it. (shift+5 for window, don't know for mac) If they still don't show, go into StreamElements settings and double-check if 7TV integration is enabled. If none of that works, try reaching out to StreamElements support for help.
If you set up your twitch account to have two factor authentication, then your StreamElements account will be protected as well as the login to StreamElements is through twitch. Another important security tip is to not share your StreamElements JWT token with anyone you don't trust, and also keep your Account ID safe from enemy hands.
Having the same issue, only thing i can think that changed is i logged out twitch on obs to correct the docks not showing up, now the streamelements activity feed dont match the twich feed, i dont even think the alerts come up now, so frustrating
In StreamElements if you go to Position, Size, and Style I believe you can change the canvas size. In OBS when you add the StreamElements widget as a browser source check the width and height (right under where you input the URL) and make sure it matches what you set up in StreamElements.
Hey y'all. I've been using streamelements for the past 6 months with no issues at all, but yesterday I was working on some commands dealing with counters, and all of a sudden the response messages from the bot just stopped showing in chat. I have a couple timers set up as well and they have stopped showing as well.
