The Missouri State Fairgrounds facilities provide travelers with outstanding campsite opportunities year-round. Our campgrounds are open 24 hours each day, so you are welcome to pull in to our public, overnight camping area day or night.
Built in 1906, the Coliseum is a historic centerpiece of the Missouri State Fairgrounds. The 180 ft. x 235 ft. three-story Coliseum amplifies several architectural motifs found in the brick animal barns nearby. This area features a 174 ft. x 118 ft. Dirt Arena Floor with approximately 2,300 seats.

State Fair Arena. The State Fair Arena features a dirt floor, open air arena, and permanent bleachers for seating. It can accommodate your event if you are needing a place to host a horse show, barrel race, or rodeo.

This 20,000-square-foot open-air pavilion was constructed in 2020 with funding from the state legislature and in partnership with Nucor Steel of Sedalia who provided the steel structure for the pavilion. The Nucor Director’s Pavilion is home to the Sedalia Area Farmer’s Market from April to October.
