It's time for tips at the card reader. I recently asked my GM about the possibility of bakers and shift leads getting tips when customers pay with a card in store. I figured that since most customers pay with card, and there are plenty of stores that ask for ~15% tips at the reader that it would be easy to implement.
Crumbl, you get large specialty flavored cookies that are sometimes more like pastries or cakey cookies. For the size and amount you get at crumbl you get more bang for your buck. Insomnia, on the other hand, is more of a "traditional" cookie, thinner but soft with slightly crispy edges and on the greasier side.
The cookies end up baking wayyyy smaller than they should be and it’s awful knowing that people are paying $3 for a hockey puck. Its ridiculous. In some stores, some of the managers have even resorted to having the DRIVERS make orders and essentially play baker just to please corporate. At the end of the day, it’s greed.

i walked past there a few days ago and there were insomnia cookies signs in the window so i would say it’s happening for sure! lol when you said Body Shop i was thinking of where Duncan’s Auto used to be next to KKS. In my head i was like, “huh, greasy mechanics shop probably isn’t the best for food service”.
I remember loving insomnia cookies when I was in college. I would bring an insulated thermos full of milk since their milk was super expensive and I would get a giant peanut butter chocolate cookie with Reese’s. Their snickerdoodle was amazing too. My location also had icecream, so I’d get icecream sandwiches.
The frosting was the only reason I ate Insomnia. The frosting is my favorite like birthday cake frosting. You can't buy that at the grocery stores. The cookies are nothing special without the frosting. 1. Reply. Award. SuspiciousDog_OP31.
