My recent experience of Trustpilot has opened my eyes to the fact that the companies which it hosts reviews of are in fact their CUSTOMERS! These companies pay Trustpilot a fee to be on the site - paying the fee gives them certain powers to be able to filter and limit the comments that are made by consumers.
Not excusing anything Trustpilot do but they are somewhat stuck between a rock and a hard place. They need to get money off someone to keep their service going. As consumers are unlikely to be willing to pay fees to read reviews, that leaves ad revenue and collecting revenue from the companies listed on their site.
The problem with Trustpilot is that UK consumers simply cannot trust its "recommendations"... don't forget that the parent company (Trustpilot A/S, registered in Denmark) completely ignores any questions that are in the "too difficult" tray , and won't even confirm that they have any connection with Trustpilot Limited, registered in England number 30276582, for one simple reason: the UK ...

Googling it is one of those sites where you sign up for a weeks trial it is then a monthly subscription with costs from £11.99 so I doubt you would have signed up for it as it wouldn't be posted on here. Have a look at the reviews from the trustpilot link above but read them ticking the 1* box they are very bad.
Trustpilot (TP) were very quick to respond to the Health Supplement (HS) company's flagging of my review. It was removed from public view whilst TP investigated. TP emailed me to request confirmation of my dealings with HS and I duly provided a scanned copy of the product order confirmation and my email dialogue with HS.

Horrendous company to deal with just check their trustpilot and other reviews. They autorenew even though you turn it off and then when you try to get your money back they charged you £5. Its a scam that martin should be looking at. Its illegal too.
Whilst Eco4 grants may be legit. Companies cold calling may not be. And might use aggressive sales tactics, even if not entitled to grants to make vulnerable part with cash.
I have been given a building and content home insurance with Policy Expert (Policy Expert Home Select) which is far cheaper than anybody else I have found and they include "extras" as standard e.g home assist, trace and access up to £5k etc.
