    Since about a month my, and my colleges Acrobat Pro (64-bit) version keeps crashing/hanging for some reason. The program is up to date. Last week I found a another new update, but it still very unresponsive. Is there an easy fix or do we need to go back and install and old version? Thanks.

    Unfortunately, this didnt work. previously the issue was just adobe acrobat pro dc not responding, now it cause the entire computer to freeze, mouse is intermittentaly unresponsive and other windows dont display properly. I ended up undoing any changes the troubleshooter changed.

    Uninstalling Acrobat through system OS then reinstalling with CC worked for me. Creative Cloud wouldn't let me uninstall Acrobat but it uninstalled all the other Adobe apps fine. So I quit CC and uninstalled Acrobat through windows, opened CC, reinstalled Acrobat and now I get my PDF previews in the Windows explorer preview pane.

    Adobe Acrobat Reader was set as the default application for pdfs. This was a new version of Acrobat Reader ver 23.6.20320.0. What fixed this was Opening Acrobat Reader and going into the Menu (3 horzontial lines upper left corner) and then select "Disable new Acrobat Reader" then 'Restart" Acrobat Reader when prompted.

    Export the Word file to PDF. I suggest using either Adobe's PDF Maker (the Acrobat ribbon) or Microsoft's built-in PDF export (File / Save As / PDF). In Acrobat Pro, use its Form Tool to add the form fields to the table.
