GameFly is terrific because you can rent as many games as you want, and if you don't like them you just send it right back and get the next one. Such freedom. No more feeling like you have to slog through and beat a mediocre game just because you bought it. No more wondering if a game is good enough to justify buying it.
FWIW, I purchased a (used) game from GameFly on 2023-10-12 and received a separate email with a DHL tracking number a day after the shipment notification email. So, it seems they've started adding tracking (at least for some orders). They ship via usps first class mail. It’s like shipping a letter, there’s no tracking.
These guys started a thread that has nothing to do with GameFly, and they get annoyed with GameFly posts. I created r/GameFlyService come talk about GameFly there. 6 15. Share. u/Longjumping-Army9231. • 2 mo. ago.

I love GameFly. I compare the monthly cost to what I would spend buying games. Each new game is $60, which buys something like 3 months of three games at once from GameFly. This means that for every new game I buy every three months, I instead get 3 games of my choosing that I can change at will for the same price.
It is mainly because of COVID affecting delivery times it seems since the normal time (at least according to posts before the pandemic) is apparently about 4-7 days depending on your location. Gonna be longer with Covid. It has been taking me a full 7 days in NY. Used to take 3.
Instead of paying $50-$60 for a game and finish it in a few weeks, I pay hmm... like $18/month and play about 2 games/month so it comes down to about $10 each game. They also send you extra discounts and $5 coupons you can use if you want to keep a game or buy a used game from their catalog. 2. throwthrowthrwaway.

Gamefly gets a limited amount of copies for new releases and almost everyone wants to rent a new release. Go ahead and put one in your queue but always have an older game ready to rent. As long as you keep those shortcomings in mind Gamefly can be great!
It doesn't . Matter that it takes a week to get a game an new game costs $69 plus tax so $76 GameFly is like $10 a month if you buy 3 months at a time certificates. It would take you like 8 months of GameFly sub to even cost the price of one new game! In 8 months you'll have beaten or played a bunch of games.
