The one downside is speed, both boot times and UI can feel a bit sluggish but I don't think it ever gets to the point of truly annoying. Yes yes yes yes yes! Vivaldi is the best browser! I don't own a Mac so IDK. I like it. The amount of possibilities for customization is nice, and it has some unique features.
Back in 2019, @gabevilela created a mod to make Vivaldi look similar to the browser Opera GX with help from @tam710562. It was a widely appreciated mod, but it hasn't been updated since 2021. This is modified version of that original mod, to bring it up to date with the current Vivaldi version
5 Nov 2023, 07:34. @RLindaS. On vivaldi icon > right click > Open Location folder to enter into the vivaldi\application folder; go to \vivaldi and navigate to \User Data\Default\Sessions. Remove the files which starts with Tabs_. If the profile is not badly damaged, this should be sufficent.

Vivaldi's CEO has an impeccable track record of fighting for more privacy that goes back to the 1990's. They explain the network traffic created by Vivaldi in detail. I also recommend reading this nice post from u/16patsle. So I'd say, Vivaldi is pretty good regarding privacy, and the rest is tin foil hat territory. 25.

16 Jun 2021, 07:19. I see people have installed the Bitwarden extension (with a few issues!). My problem is I can't see a way to actually get the extension! Clicking on the Vivaldi link on this page leads me to the Chrome Store. I cannot see anywhere to actually download/install the extension! I see links to download the app for Android etc.
