NoFrills for Quatix7. 1597922 5 months ago. Hi, how can I get a NoFrills shield on Quatix7. I had one with an earlier Q5, and on Q7 than I can find. Someone will help;) A dedicated community for Garmin users to ask questions, provide answers, and share feedback.
However pictures I see of the 955 feature a black background stock watchface with outlined digits, and I really need a white background with solid big black digits and no frills or color. Is that possible with the 955? If so, could someone post a picture of it? I know CIQ watchfaces are plenty, but I prefer a stock watchface.
(2) to test the above issue, I set up a "one time" alarm. My "no frills" watchface showed 2 alarms. The 2nd alarm worked properly and I stopped it (I'm positive I stopped it and did not hit "snooze"). After, my "no frills" watchface showed I still have 2 alarms. However, 10 mins. later it went off again.
I have an installed watch face (No Frills). When I select it on the watch, it states uploading watch, then installs the factory default watch face. But, when I go into Garmin Connect and select the installed watch face (No Frills) and change the settings.
I'm looking for a good basic no-frills GPS that displays MPH in tenths. My dad wants one for doing field work on the tractor. I guess water-proof would be a bonus too. As inexpensive as possible. I thought I read the etrex 20 did tenths. But I can't find any verification of that. Thanks for the help! Mike. A dedicated community for Garmin users ...
I'm at over 7 days on a single charge and I still have %11 battery left. That's with no GPS use at all. Sideswipe disabled. No backlight with gesture. Shortest timeout for the light. And a good amount of notifications all week. Using the default analog watchface with the seconds and 3 modifiable fields. Going to see if I can make it to the full 8.
The Instinct 1 thrived on its reductiveness, but getting that right. Font size, simple scrollable widgets, flat display with good contrast, no-frills case design etc. From the pictures posted, the new display looks much worse at night, almost as if they changed the underlying technology, like with the difference between IPS and TFT LCDs.
