Oct 6, 2012. #2. Quagsire is incredibly useful ingame, if a little boring. You cant go wrong with Gyarados either. If its just for an ingame team you can pretty much use any pokemon you want and you wont have much trouble. Last edited: Oct 6, 2012.

For me, choosing my favorite out of the two options here is one of the easiest decisions to make. Below is my personal opinion on the matter. Platinum is a much better game in every possible way.
