The cover art says The Sims 2 Double Deluxe and the title in your EA Library is now The Sims 2. Rest assured it is the Ultimate Collection that is installed. This has now been fixed and the cover art says The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, though the title name remains The Sims 2. The size of the download may say something like 10GB.
I tried installing The Sims 2 Ultimate collection from one of the old games archive site. I downloaded it uses a external hard drive that had a lot of space on it. it caused my Microsoft Surface to go into a boot loop for almost 2 years. I recently got it fixed by creating a recovery drive for it.
Basically, you extract the 4gb patch somewhere, double click on it. It'll open a windows explorer page. From there you need to find the Sims 2 UC .exe file, which, if you haven't messed with the files, is typically located at: C:/Program Files (x86)/Origin Games/The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection/Fun with Pets/SP9/CSBin, make a new shortcut with the patched .exe and theoretically it's applied!
