    I did download and install this version of Works in my test environment, and it looks exactly like my legal version, but unless I'm sure it's OK with MS, I don't want to tell other folks about it. It would seem that logically if MS isn't going to sell or support Works, it ought to be OK, but what's legal and what's logical often don't match!

    Microsoft Works is very old software that hasn't been sold for years. It's not supported on Windows 10. That doesn't necessarily mean that it won't work at all on Windows 10.
