For me, it has turned into requiring me to reboot my iPhone at least once a day. I know it is not an issue with my service being off because I use my iPhone 13 as a hotspot for another old iPhone to play Pokémon and the gps location is correct on that one.

The VW's GPS is wrong and it is being used as the primary source in CarPlay which causes the phone to use that bad location while running CarPlay. Here is what I have tried (all have failed to solve the problem): Turn location services off and on. Restart phone. Turn off other apps using GPS. Buy a new phone. Turn off WiFi. Use a different navigation app. Make sure software is up to date. It still freezes, loses signal, or goes wonky on the screen.
