I'm talking about JR's alternative cigars. I have tried two in last couple of days. Tried the A. Fuenta and the Cohiba. Didn't care too much for the Cohiba, A. Fuenta wasn't that bad. Just wondering if any of you guys actually like an alternative to a cigar?
JR Ultimate Cabinet. This is probably the 3rd one of these I have smoked (No 20 50x5.25) Click here. I picked up these last 4 in North Carolina during a trip. Paid about 4.50 each (buy 5 get one free). This is really a good smoke. A little loose on the draw but tastes pretty good. I recommend trying this.

Hey Blade! I've never been in the store you mention, but I was in a JRs in Washington DC, and one in Detroit. They are both, without a doubt, the largest 2 cigar shops i've ever been

They are a very inexpensive smoke, 22.00 for a bundle. They say the are alternatives to certain name brands. I keep some around now to give out at BBQs when I know certain people will ask. Cigar smokers get good cigars from me. BBQ story & review After trying "name brand" cigars and comparing them to JR Alts.... there is a major difference.
The Great Blender Rolando Reyes Sr. Hand-rolled this cigar with Brazilian, Dominican and Nicaraguan Long filler. It is a 'Cuban-Sandwich' -style Medium-bodied, everyday cigar. Flor del Todo cigar is featured with an Ecuadorian Colorado thick wrapper. It is consistant, pleasant, with mouth-watering aromas. Quantity: BDL of 20.
I had a small problem with JR Cigars. I had a few moldy tubos. They wouldn't send replacements, but reimbursed me about $2 a stick. Since the deal included an array of cigars and merchandise, I really have no idea what I actually paid for the cigars.
Maybe I just got a good batch, but these are nice cigars. Good burn, a comfortable draw and good consistency. The smoke is the mild side of medium in body, and has a slightly sweet flavor and aroma. These remind me a little bit of Puros Indios, only better IMHO. I'll be getting more. The cigars I smoked were 54 gauge and about 7 inches long.
