Sure. Go to an Apple Store and ask for the person who handles check in. I've gotten appointments that way. You might also be able to ask if there are any drop-in slots or same-day appointments. Other than that, it's not that hard if you've got the Apple Support app. But on the web it's not bad as long as you're logged into your Apple ID.
