This feels like a scam. The pharmacy wouldn't call you to update your info, they see that as your responsibility not theirs to update. That's a total scam. There is no way any cvs employee would have enough time on their hands to call and ask for a profile update. Also, none of us would care enough to do it anyway.
Earlier this year I moved my prescriptions from Kroger to CVS. Lately, I’ve been getting repeat calls from scammers claiming to be from CVS. They always ask me to confirm that I have diabetes before transferring my call. I swear @ them & hang up. The thing is, I do take a prescription that CAN be used for diabetes.

Yes. Would have been fine with them calling to ask if I had my flu shot yet this year and saying they were now available. And, my issue is not that they were asking about vaccines. It was that they were unsolidated asking about medical records. More cyber security concern. -3. true.
I work for CVS specialty. We will call you the schedule your delivery. We have your rx and we can ship to a local cvs pharmacy. YOU need to tell us which one. Also, the phone number comes across weird to protect your privacy. The agent should have given you the phone number to call to schedule if you did not feel comfortable providing info.
I received a call that looked similar to CVS specialty pharmacy, it sounded exactly like their normal prompts. So it wasn't suspicious. It asked me to say my name which I've done before for CVS. I feel really dumb now because, looking back, all the signs of a scam were there (delay after picking up, strong accent, she couldn’t answer my questions, kept repeating stuff, said my name every sentence, etc). She ended the call pretty quickly after I gave her the partial DOB, but now I’m wondering what her intent even was.

Say "Stop" Say "Correct". I received this same phone call a week after filling a prescription for a Z pack.
