I visited my local AT&T company store yesterday and spoke with the store manager. Here's what I confirmed: 1. The store cannot process the trade-in for my iPhone 16 Pro Max, which I ordered AT&T online, because their system already has the information about the trade-in device I pledged during the order process, including the IM
When a (digitally) signed written contract/written terms and verbal instructions from AT&T customer service conflict, the signed written contract/terms takes precedence. Hence, don't trust whatever customer service tells you (regardless of AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc). You should always research the terms on your own.
In the early iPhone cycle ( Original iPhone, and up to iPhone 5 ) our dedicated AT&T Rep would ask what we wanted to order and on Launch day they would bring the new iPhones to our office. Then it became an AT&T Premiere Web order process and now just priority phone support for "phone" orders via a call-center, and a AT&T Signature Program ...
16,889. Dec 12, 2020. #12. All carriers suck. I’ve had good service though for over a decade and some good deals ($550 X on contract , $250 for a 128gb se2 with financing immediately paid off and unlocked, $199 iPhone 12 pro with trade in of iPhone 8) can’t complain much / don’t wanna switch. Prepaid / GoPhone accounts. Your device must have been active for at least 6 months of paid service. When they say your account must be active, that appears to mean you need to be using AT&T's wireless service for 60 days. It never states you need to be using the phone you want to unlock for 60 days.
I was curious if anyone knew if AT&T were going to (or may have had in the past with other iPhone releases) extend their customer service hours tomorrow due to the iPhone 5 release. I need to call in to do an upgrade swap between two of my lines and I work until 10pm. On their website it says...
AT&T customer service has on many occasions been rude and obstructionist. That’s bad enough. But my goodness their coverage is the pits and I think it’s actually gotten worse in the last three years. Verizon has a slightly similar trial offer going on through one of their sub companies. These two carriers must smell AT&T’s blood in the water.
When I go settings -->Cellular Data -->view account. I see options to 1. "set up a new account" 2. "Add to existing AT&T account" and. 3. "Transfer service from another iPad". I have an AT&T wireless account for my cell phone so I selected the 2nd option. after I enter my passcode, the field clears when I go to the next field.
I currently have an iPhone 15 Pro on Apple Upgrade, so I still owe 50% of the value (~$784). To get the $1000 AT&T credit and get the iPhone 16 Pro, I would have to pay the $784 off. Then the AT&T monthly payments would be much lower than the Apple Upgrade payments. However, once you amortize the $784 over the next 12 or 24 months, the math ...
Nov 4, 2014. 354. 314. Oct 18, 2017. #1. Picked up new iPad Pro’s for my wife and myself on AT&T Next. The sales guy offered us a $20 a month unlimited standalone data plan on our same 6 gig iPhone account without adjusting the iPhone 6 gig plan. He said that they just started offering this last week.
