DeltaV said: My direct connection Special Parts Catalog from July 1, 1975 doesn't list any designers or manufacturers for the Street Hemi Grind. The picture below is from page 41 from the parts for the 361/383/400 Lo Block and 413/426W/440 Hi Block. See their note about camshafts...who designed them. View attachment 989447.
Contact seller. These are a set of original Mopar Performance Stage IV cast iron cylinder heads from Direct Connection. My uncle bought them new back in the 70's and never used them. They've been sitting in his garage ever since and have never been bolted on an engine. Need to be cleaned up but they are in over all good shape.
Well-Known Member. Fresh, in the original box, Direct Connection P3690961 340 block. Never even finished machined. Was one of four sent to Roy Johnson back in the late 70's. Includes the windage tray mounting kit and the DC locator pin kit. $2500 or best offer.

When my friends and I really got into cars, I got hold of a Direct Connection catalog and price list (I'm thinking 1979-1980???) The prices were mind boggling. I remember (hazily) the price for a 340 piston as around $40 and wondering if that was for the whole set, since $320 seemed implausible.
289. Location. Brainerd Minnesota. I remember Direct Connection point of sale and books always being on display in the parts department at White Bear Dodge in the mid 70's. I see the Mopar DC manuals on Amazon and ebay listed from $30 to $125. Oct 8, 2020. #4.
