I installed this version so that I can run mods and maps that cannot be run on (the) other MC versions and MC editions. Since the Java Edition modding creations and maps are better than the other versions and editions. And since most of them or those are not applications that can be applied to or run on the MC versions outside of Java Edition.

There's a "manual" process too, if you don't want to use a 3rd party modded Minecraft manager. You need to use one of the mod loaders for mods to work with Minecraft, either Forge or Fabric, depending on the mods you're wanting to play with. Just loading a mod on it's own won't do anything as Minecraft won't know it is there.
