On-campus housing is where you belong. Even though this is a large campus, you'll always feel like you're a part of this place. As you share the same spaces and experiences, the connections you make will lead to lifetime friends who have your back and share your wins, dreams, and memories.
Find your home away from home. Living on campus is a liberating experience—one that you will share with a community of other students, faculty, and staff. It places you in the middle of the academic, social, and leisure life of the campus.
Apply for housing. First-time applicants may apply for housing before paying the university enrollment deposit. See the Indiana University Bloomington academic calendar for specific dates.
Make your housing selections to find a place comfortable for you. Student government activity fees of $30 per term for residence halls and furnished apartments, or $9 per term for unfurnished apartments and learning community fees are not included.
IU Housing continues to accept housing applications and we have expanded our first priority window to be from February 1 to June 1. Visit the Intent to Enroll form to let us know you are heading to IU Bloomington.
The following dates are open to all students enrolled at IU Bloomington: Monday, January 10 at 10 a.m. – Friday, March 11 at 12 noon. Return to any open residence hall or unfurnished apartment space. Monday, March 21 at 10 a.m. – Friday, April 29 at 12 noon.
