Blank area in Word doc I use the Word document program from Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 and often switch between looking at a document to looking at the Internet. Then, when I go back to Word the area I was looking at it is blank and I have to scroll upwards a little way to make the text show up again.
When a Word doc is in full-screen view the Status Bar at the bottom of the screen appears. When I reduce the size of the doc on screen, the Status Bar disappears. This has only started happening within the past day. Prior to this, I have been able to display multiple docs on screen simultaneously and retain access to the Status Bar.
My file associations are correct. .docx and .doc and .doc[any letter] files are all associated with Word. And I'm running Office Professional Plus 2016. If I double-click on a Word (.docx) file, two document COPIES of that file (document1.docx and document2.docx) are opened. The same thing if I pick "open with > Word" from the context menu.
It sounds like your OneDrive settings are correct. Check one more time in Word under Options that AutoSave is enabled for One Drive (sounds like you did that already, but I want to see if the option becomes unselected when the problem occurs). If it is all Word files, your best bet may be to repair Office (and if that fails, reinstall Office).
About 2 days ago, all my Word docs started to display very thin line boxes around each paragraph, in the PRINT View. I have RTFM and made sure that borders were turned off around paragraphs and pages. Here is a typical doc.
In Word create a blank page and export as a pdf if you want to add a page after an existing one. Next go to the website above and upload your pdf file that has many pages. Add the blank page or any other pdf file. You can now simply drag the pages in the order you want. You will have to have Word re-number the pages. Word 2021 Windows 10 Pro 22H2
When one Word session is already open (be it a blank or saved document) and I choose to open another new blank Word session by clicking on the Office Word app (in Start menu) and then choosing "Blank document", it opens two extra blank Word sessions instead of one. So I'll be having 3 Word sessions total.
I left the blank screen open and minimized it and then opened a new instance using the Word Desktop icon and it shows the normal screen with the toolbar etc. I bring up the previous blank screen and it now shows a partial toolbar and navigation list but the content on the page is still blank. Other Word docs open with no issue.
1. New ThinkPad X1 Carbon with Windows 10 2. Installed Office 2010 - everything fine 3. Installed Office 2019 still all good 4. Uninstalled Word and Excel 2010 - no problems 5. After some weeks Office 2019 turned into Office 2016 and Word docs...
I'm using Office Pro 2019 Retail build 2002 (12527.20278). When one Word session is already open (be it a blank or saved document) and I choose to open another new blank Word session by clicking on the Office Word app (in Start menu) and then...
