Founded in 1971, and known as "Marching musics major league," DCI develops and enforces rules of competition and judges at sanctioned drum and bugle corps competitions throughout the United States and Canada.
Pacific Crest has advanced to DCI Semifinals in 2003, 2007–08, 2011–19, and 2022–24. [ 3 ] In addition to performing in DCI, Pacific Crest has also performed at several independent events, including with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl [ 4 ] and in the 2019 Rose Parade.
Based in Fort Mill, South Carolina, Carolina Crown is a member corps of Drum Corps International (DCI).
