The amount you pay on a lease assumes the car is going to lose a certain amount of value, if the car is worth more than that at the end of the lease you take the L and can’t buy the car and sell it with Tesla like a normal lease

She prequalified for $130k (when she only makes $40k/year) and I was denied when I make $80k+ a year. The rep suggested that me being denied for prequalifying in no way means I would get denied financing. They are making the pre qualify decision based on what you enter.
