Quest CE is a privately held company in the United States that specializes in providing compliance training and continuing education to the financial services industry. History [ edit ] Quest CE was founded in 1986 in Newport Beach, California and was formerly known as Newport Financial Consultants, LLC (NFC Consulting Group).
Quest was founded by Gary D. Kerber in 1988 as Educational Medical, Inc., and started up by acquiring seven schools in 1988 and 1989 focused on health care education. Over time Quest began acquiring schools in different fields and in other U.S. states. [2] In September 1998, the company changed its name to Quest Education Corporation.
In May 2002, the college was acquired by Quest Education Corporation, a subsidiary of Kaplan, Inc. [1] In December 2002, Quest changed its name to Kaplan Higher Education Corporation. In March 2004, the campus expanded by adding a 6,800-square-foot (630 m 2 ) facility located at 3922 Vero Road, less than a mile from the campus.
