Use fabric with phosphor and lithium and/or carpet. You would need to not switch to paper. The point of paper is to change game mechanics to make the game run smoother with a similar player experience. So depending on your requirements, there are other options that may be better for you:

The gold farm worked, although we ended up building a turtle egg based farm instead of a zombie pigling aggression based, since that seemed to be the issue for other paper users. I’m still not sure though. The xp kind of works the same, so that’s not the issue. We ended up building the farm at the outer edge of our previous spawn proofing.
