   Just use qbittorrent. I am seeding 7561 torrents no problem and it is as fast as my upload and download speeds will allow. Utorrent is mostly safe though but if you use it just use "old reliable" utorrent 2.2.1. I changed to qbittorrent and noticed my download speeds where quicker. uTorrent is a horrible ad-bloated mess.

   qbittorent is better than uTorrent because it is more accurate in transferring files. I changed from utorrent to qbittorrent and the difference is amazing. utorrent was once great, but that was a long time ago. It became a cesspit of bad ads and other garbage, was temperamental about connections and NAS.

    Posted November 6, 2017. Looking at the URL on the screenshot, you're downloading the current stable. What you need to do is go into the Windows Defender Antivirus settings. Somewhere in there you should be able to create an exception, possibly on some sort of white list, for uTorrent.exe. Once done, uTorrent should download just fine.
