I installed Windows 11 on my laptop and now when I try to sign into GMail from either my laptop (Windows 11) or my desktop (Windows 10) I am asked to add GMail to my Google account. When I try to do that with my existing GMail account it tells me that the account already exists, which it does.
1) What often works to fix the Mail app is to go to Windows 11 Mail Settings (gear icon at bottom of Inbox) then Manage Accounts, then choose the problem account (s), then Delete the Account. To create a shortcut to the People app, right-click in a blank area > New > Shortcut > On the location of the item insert this path below: ms-people: > Next > Insert the shortcut name > Finish.
