Also, not looking for PE downloads. Specifically WIN 10. Man, this modding community for Bedrock is small. Mostly it's just Android mods. I've found a single mod for Windows 10. Maybe it's the C++. Maybe it is the (RELATIVELY) less active community. Anyways, i'm just rambling here. Comment any finds down below.
Minecraft for Windows 10 available from the Microsoft Store is based on the Bedrock Engine, and is the same game as what is now available on Xbox One and what was formerly known as Pocket Edition. Minecraft (Bedrock) currently only supports add-ons (texture pack and behavior packs). Forge and "mods" are compatible with Minecraft: Java Edition.
Just double-click to open it (or right-click to select open with Minecraft) and it should automatically install. Then you can apply the pack to your world. You can find free add-ons on sites like MCPEDL or some pre-packaged ones with worlds in the Marketplace. Mods made for Java Edition aren't compatible with Bedrock. 1.
there is nothing even really remotely similar to build craft on windows 10. What little there is available is generally on mcpedl.com, but if you are used to curseforge, it's like the Pakistani equivalent. Nothing good dont bother trying mobil either the best mods are always going to be java 1.12, 1.10 or 1.7.
There are different add-ons for Bedrock. These fall into two categories, resource packs and behavior packs. Resource packs often change things visibly in the game, but don't generally alter the behavior of the world. Texture packs are a good example of a resource pack. Behavior packs generally adjust some aspect of the world and gameplay.
ok after you decide what addon you want. Addons are usually two parts. the first part is the texture which changes how the entity looks. the second part is the behavior pack which changes how the entity acts. so youll need to download both. once youve navigated the terrible ads and gotten to the download page click download. then back on your ...
Press the windows key + r, and type: %appdata% .minecraft. And create a "mods" folder in .Minecraft, but make sure it's completely lowercase. Then, download the mods that you want and put them in the folder you just made. Now you can load the game and at the bottom of the launcher it should say your modloader, if not, you may have made a mistake.
If you’re playing on 1.18.2, you need to use Java 17. The Minecraft launcher and most modded launchers will come with older versions of Java. Download the latest version of OpenJDK 17 here. Download the version called 17.0.2 (build 17.0.2+8). Select the Windows version if you’re using Windows and download the zip file.
You have more access to servers and mods. Java is better. Java’s the one that has more mods and most mod pack launchers use Java but windows 10 edition is the one that Microsoft is trying to get people to use even though it’s known for being super buggy.
Yes, it's possible, but for now at least, it's much much much harder to do than in the Java edition. Mojang will have do some some seriously heavy lifting to get an API than can support anything like the current Java modded scene, my expectation is that will never happen. 21. Reply. Award.
