Farm to Market Road 604 (FM 604) is located in Taylor, Callahan, and Shackelford counties. The highway runs from US 83 southwest of Ovalo eastward and northward to SH 351 northeast of Abilene . FM 604 was designated on August 3, 1945, to run from SH 36 south to Oplin.
