DEVICE NOT CONNECTED. hi folks! Just got BeatStep Pro (used). I've got issues connecting my BSP with my macbook pro 13 with high sierra. When i'm going in the Device settings from the Midi Control Center, i got this message CONNECT A DEVICE TO EDIT THESE SETTINGS. The BSP and the laptop can't seem to communicate.
I am hoping such templates are likely already written for the Arturia MCC to map to Reason 11, Native Instruments, etc . A simple download then Import the Template would be wonderful. Using the MIDI control center to manually MIDI Map with User Presets seems fairly intuitive however knowing 'what to Map to say in Reason or NI" appears more of a ...
MIDI Control Center should be called "Arturia Hardware Configurator" or something like that So, that utility app is used to (re)configure all Arturia MIDI controllers, set different MIDI CCs to the knobs, buttons and faders, remap the pads, set MIDI Channel, Velocity/Aftertouch curves, etc.

Re: How to install/open the MIDI CONTROL CENTER. « Reply #1 on: December 06, 2013, 09:20:27 pm ». That file is the firmware file to update your minlab, you use it in the Unified midi control centre. The UMCC is available on the resource page and is an exe for windows and dmg for mac.
So far I managed to install both, the Software Center and the MIDI Control Center, using wine. I use Debian stable, the steps are: 1.) run: $ sudo apt update && sudo apt install wine. 2.) run: $ wine. Command 2.) informed me that multiarch support was missing and presented the command to change that.
Here's the steps I have been taking when attempting to update the firmware: - Step 1. Turn on PC (running Windows 7 (Home Premium) 64-bit. Once windows boots and logs in to desktop... - Step 2. Plug MiniLab mkII into my desktop PC's main USB port (no external USB Hubs attached). - Step 3. Launch 'MIDI Control Center'.
