Travel either north or south on Queen Kaahumanu Highway/HI-19 to get to Kona International Airport. The airport is approximately seven miles from Kailua-Kona town and approximately 25 miles from resorts located on the Kohala Coast. From Queen Kaahumanu, turn toward the ocean on Keahole Airport Road.
